Are they the same lenses I get from my optician?
Yes, by law we can only supply the same lenses as prescribed and fitted by your optician. If you have been fitted with an own brand lens, or a lens you can't find on our website, don't worry, own brand lenses are repackaged versions of the brand name lenses we sell. Please email us if you are unsure

Do you have to verify my Contact Lens Prescription?
Yes under UK Law, All Contact Lens suppliers must ensure you have a valid Contact Lens Prescription, before we are legally allowed to Send any lenses. This however does not affect any solution orders or ready reader sales.

What is a contact lens prescription?
A contact lens prescription is similar to a spectacle prescription. It does, however, contain specific contact lens related information. The prescription will state the brand of lenses for which you have been fitted and the size and strength of the lenses. The prescription will be dated and signed by your optician. A prescription is not valid if it has not be signed and dated.

Do you need to contact my optician?
We will only contact your optician if you are unable to provide a copy of your current contact lens prescription. If you are not able to provide a signed, dated copy of your prescription, we are obliged, by law to contact your optician prior to processing your order for contact lenses.

How soon will I receive my lenses?
Over 90% of orders are despatched within 3 working days of receiving confirmation of your contact lens prescription. Orders for special lenses are usually despatched within 5-10 days.

Can I order a different type of lens from you, to the one I am wearing?
No, we are not allowed to substitute products under UK legislation. We may only supply the lenses prescribed by your Optician or Eye Doctor.

How does this work under the Data Protection Act?
By providing your opticians contact details & placing the order, we have confirmed with the Information Commissioners Office that this constitutes your full permission for us to act on your behalf to verify the prescription with your optician as required by the GOC.
